Unlike general AI tools, MACg combines literature discovery, AI-assisted scientific writing, citation management, slide creation, charts and figures, and content organization in one integrated platform. Users can search PubMed or the web, work from their own trusted sources, and generate evidence-grounded scientific content more efficiently.

Core capabilities include:

  • Ask MACg – Multimodal AI assistant for scientific research and content creation
  • Literature Search – Integrated PubMed and web search
  • Scientific Writing – Generate, edit, and refine scientific content
  • Citation Management – Create and manage references and bibliographies
  • Slide Generator – Build presentation-ready scientific slide decks
  • Charts & Figures – Create visuals to communicate scientific data
  • Scientific Prompt Library – Prebuilt prompts for common medical affairs and scientific workflows
  • Content Workspace – Organize projects, documents, and research with dynamic folders
How is MACg different from ChatGPT and other general-purpose AI platforms?

ChatGPT and other general-purpose AI tools are powerful language models designed for broad applications. MACg is a purpose-built AI workspace designed specifically for healthcare and life sciences workflows.

MACg combines advanced AI models with specialized scientific workflows, tools, and capabilities that help users move from evidence discovery to scientific content creation in one integrated platform.

Unlike general AI platforms, MACg provides:

  • Evidence-focused workflows – Search and work with scientific literature through integrated PubMed and web search capabilities.
  • Scientific content creation tools – Generate, edit, and refine manuscripts, abstracts, medical information materials, slide decks, and other scientific deliverables.
  • Citation and reference support – Help manage sources and create traceable scientific content.
  • Integrated visual creation – Generate charts, diagrams, and scientific visuals.
  • Scientific workflows and templates – Use purpose-built prompts and tools designed for medical affairs and life sciences professionals.

MACg does not replace general AI models—it applies them within a purpose-built environment designed around the needs of scientific professionals and life sciences organizations.

Is My Data and Content Secure?

MACg has enterprise grade security. It has a comprehensive suite of security features to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards, including GDPR and SOC 2. Your data is not used to treat AI models. Heres how your data and content are secured:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Security

The application is hosted on AWS Cloud, leveraging its advanced security protocols, including data encryption, identity and access management, and network security.

2. Perimeter Security

It's firewall guards against unauthorized access, filtering incoming traffic, and mitigating threats such as DDoS attacks, thereby safeguarding the application from external vulnerabilities.

3. Data Encryption

MACg utilizes the latest TLS encryption protocols to secure data in transit, ensuring that all communications between users and the application are encrypted and protected from interception.

4. Isolated Team Spaces

Upon registration, each user is assigned to a personal team space, creating isolated environments for data management. Each team has its dedicated collections ensuring that data is compartmentalized and access is restricted to authorized members only.

5. Controlled API Access

Protocols are in place to prevent unauthorized access to the API from other clients. This minimizes the risk of cross-site request forgery attacks, ensuring that only legitimate clients can interact.

6. Secure File Storage and Sharing

User-uploaded files are processed in the background and stored securely within the designated team spaces. Users can manage file permissions, sharing files with team members only when explicitly authorized. This feature enhances collaborative security while maintaining strict access controls.

7. Automated CI/CD and Source Code Security

The application employs a fully configured and automated CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that code deployments are secure and efficient. Importantly, no credentials are hardcoded in the source code, mitigating the risk of credential leakage.

8. Data Control and User Rights

In compliance with GDPR, users have complete control over their data. They can permanently delete their team or account, ensuring that all personal information is removed from the system when requested. Additionally, user data is not shared with any third party services, upholding the principles of data privacy.

9. Robust Tech Stack Security

The application leverages a solid tech stack for the front and backend along with supporting technologies for efficient processing and caching. The databases used are configured with security best practices, ensuring data integrity and security.

I used to spend HOURS researching a single article. Drowning in PubMed rabbit holes, juggling 15+ tabs for every project, switching between multiple Google Docs and getting lost in the process. It was beyond exhausting. I was skeptical about using AI in my process after too many garbage outputs, but I gave MACg a shot anyway. I needed an article on ADHD and nutrition, so I said, “why not?”. Within minutes, I had solid research and a pretty solid first draft. After a few quick iterations, my article was publication-ready. Time savings = unmatched. What ultimately sold me: I was able to do everything in one spot…research, prompting, drafting, writing/revisions. No more 15+ tabs for one project. (and a lot fewer headaches) If you want to drastically cut your time and get quality outputs fast, try MACg.
